Our various environmental & quality labels:

The Swan

Products that are labeled with the Swan must meet special criteria that ensure that they have less environmental impact than other products for the same purpose. The criteria are time-limited and revised successively to ensure that the Nordic Ecolabelled products are always among the best from an environmental point of view.

Ecolabel

The EU Ecolabel is (formerly the EU flower) the EU's official environmental label and is managed in Sweden by Miljömärkning Sverige AB. The EU Ecolabel works in the same way as the Swan. The products are examined from a life-cycle perspective from raw material to waste, and in order to be licensed, the products must meet high requirements for the environment, function and quality. The requirements are continuously tightened.

FSC

In FSC-certified forests, demands are made, among other things, that the rights of indigenous peoples are respected and that biologically valuable forests are managed in such a way that the natural values are preserved. This marking is valid together with the license number for the respective brand.

Our own environmental label

We put this symbol on a product when, for some reason, it lacks an official environmental label, but where we still consider it, from an environmental point of view, to be preferable to another. The assessment is based on the manufacturer's own information and can, for example, appear on a product that is, to at least 50%, made from recycled material.

Good environmental choice

In order for a product to be labeled with Good Environmental Choice, it must meet the criteria of the Swedish Nature Protection Association. These aim to reduce the use of harmful chemicals and minimize the products' negative environmental and health impact.

Fair trade

Fairtrade's vision is a world trade with fair conditions, where producers in countries with widespread poverty have the opportunity to create a safe and sustainable existence for themselves, in which they can develop and decide on their own future
